As with many other modules in Microbizz you can search for the specific objects within the module - in this case task objects.
Depending on your permissions and policies you'll be able to search for the different tasks by using the global search bar. You can for instance search for task names and the company they might be attached to.
The Task search function can be found in the submenu Task > Search, within the Tasks-module.
As seen below there is one main field called Task where a user can search broadly for tasks. Use the other fields to narrow the search results, some of the fields are described further below..
The Search button will change to Abort whilst searching is in progress, so you can abort the search if it takes too long. Use the Reset button to clear all fields.
The available options in the Task type field depends on your setup. The Project+U option searches for matching projects, but also displays all the project subtasks; to be able to use this you will also need to enable the setting where you select the columns to display.
The avanced settings section includes fields for limiting the results to certain task statues, work areas, custom fields etc.
Search with filter
You'll also be able to base your search on the tasks filter in the menu Search with filter. A list of your filters will be shown, which you can base your search on. Simply choose the filter you need from the dropdown and then search.
UPDATE: The latest version for multiselecting objects has been implemented, improving on both the functionality and user experience. Before, it was possible to select rows in the table by clicking on any of the available columns in a row, but the issue occurred as soon as one wanted to copy text from a row. So now, checkboxes to the left of each row have been added, allowing for selecting multiple rows one at a time, or all at ones.
UPDATE: Furthermore, it was possible to select rows in any table, but now, it is only achievable on tables with "functionality" e.g. task tabs, which has no functionality other than linking to other objects within Microbizz.
It's possible to select/multiselect tasks from a search result.
From there you can use the Change button to gain access to a set of options that can be applied to the selected tasks.
The possible options are:
