Hvad sker der?
Microbizz' kalenderintegration til Exchange / Microsoft 365 bruger Microsofts Exchange Web Services (EWS).
Microsoft lukker EWS ned i Exchange Online:
-
-
Slå EWS til på organisationsniveau:
Set-OrganizationConfig -EWSEnabled:$true -
Set-OrganizationConfig -EwsAllowedAppIDs "1b2cb191-cf4e-4081-b28d-089c29656905"
Microbizz app-ID: 1b2cb191-cf4e-4081-b28d-089c29656905

English
What is happening?
The Microbizz calendar integration with Exchange / Microsoft 365 uses Microsoft's Exchange Web Services (EWS).
Microsoft is shutting down EWS in Exchange Online:
-
1 October 2026: EWS is turned off by default. If your organisation has not configured it, EWS will be disabled when Microsoft rolls out the change to your tenant.
-
1 April 2027: EWS is removed from Exchange Online for good and cannot be turned back on.
This only applies to Exchange Online (Microsoft 365). If you run Exchange on your own servers, you are not affected.
What does this mean for you?
If EWS is turned off, the sync between the Microbizz calendar and Outlook stops. Appointments created in Microbizz will no longer show up in Outlook, and the other way around.
What do you need to do?
To keep using the calendar integration, your IT department must manually enable EWS in your Microsoft 365 tenant before 1 October 2026. Microbizz cannot do this for you.
Send this to your IT department. Microsoft requires both steps:
-
Enable EWS at organisation level:
Set-OrganizationConfig -EWSEnabled:$true -
Allow Microbizz to use EWS by adding our app ID to the list of allowed apps:
Set-OrganizationConfig -EwsAllowedAppIDs "1b2cb191-cf4e-4081-b28d-089c29656905"
Microbizz app ID: 1b2cb191-cf4e-4081-b28d-089c29656905
Note: The command in step 2 replaces the existing list. If you already have other apps on the list, include them as well, separated by commas.

What is Microbizz doing?
We are working on a new solution that does not rely on EWS, and we are following Microsoft's migration plan. We will let you know when it is ready. Until then, EWS must be enabled for the calendar integration to work.
